Members
Members have signed the Net Zero Eyecare group statement and in so doing made a commitment to sustainability in their practices and communities..
Optical Recycling Centre
When you no longer have any use for your old frames and lenses drop them off at one of these practices and they will send them away for recycling.
CERTIFICATION YOU CAN TRUST
We do not give these certifications lightly.
Every practice listed here is required to be part of an ongoing programme to reduce greenhouse gases and reduce and recycle waste.
Their actions are audited annually and certificates are awarded only when strict criteria have been achieved.
We take offsetting seriously.
We oversee the carbon offsetting of certified businesses to ensure that they are truly carbon neutral or (better still) carbon negative.
Our everyday activites are funded externally, so 100% of a practice's offsetting payments is spent on offsetting projects.
For the actual offsetting, we support projects from the internationally accredited Gold Standard.
